We can help outside the home with

Transport to hospital, clinic, doctors and dentists. If you are having trouble getting there, make your journey less stressful by letting us help. (If possible try to give us at least 24hrs notice). Shopping, small  errands. Collecting pensions or  prescriptions. Occasional lifts to day centres, luncheon clubs etc. (if your  regular transport is not available).

We can help at home with

Important letters or difficult to write forms. Occasional cleaning, small gardening jobs, household repairs. (Short-term help if you are unable to do it yourself) Visiting or befriending when your loved one is in hospital or away. Or, maybe, just a cup of tea and a chat.

What will it cost?

Just the expenses incurred by the volunteer e.g. petrol and any item you ask us to buy for you.

Donations will always be gratefully received.

Befriending

We have a team of volunteers willing to keep in touch, by telephone or a visit, with anyone feeling lonely, or in need of any sort of help to get them through a particular bad time.

St. George’s Day

CaddingtonCare led the rousing St. George’s Day sing-a-long at the Heathfield Centre on Sat 23 April. Fred Thomas provided the music .

And two young visitors were happy to join in the fun.
